Young Theyyam artiste found dead in Kannur

A young Theyyam artiste was found dead in his rented house at Pallikunnu in the district on Sunday night. The deceased was identified as ‘Koladhari’ Ashwanth, 27, a native of Taliparambakol Thuruthi.

Ashwanth had won the hearts of Theyyam lovers in north Malabar and had a large following on social media.

The Kannur Town police have registered a case of unnatural death. After inquest, the body was handed over to relatives.
