A 75-year-old woman was trampled to death by a wild elephant that attacked her house in the early hours of Thursday (May 22, 2025) at Malakkappara in Thrissur, Kerala. The deceased has been identified as Mary.
It is reported that the elephant attacked her house around 1 a.m. while she was sleeping.
Though Mary tried to escape, the elephant attacked her.
Her house was also damaged in the incident.
