West Bengal WBJEE 2025 Result: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEE) on August 7 announce the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2025 result. Candidates can check the WBJEE 2025 result at wbjeeb.nic.in. WBJEE 2025 was conducted on April 27. The delay of over three months to declare the result, the Board said, was due to legal proceedings surrounding the state’s updated list of OBC sub-castes.
“The examinations were held on April 27. By June 5, the results would have been announced and steps were taken. But due to the OBC matter, it could not be announced,” WBJEE chairperson Sonali Chakraborty Banerjee said at a press conference.
The WBJEE 2025 answer key was released on May 9 and candidates had the provision to raise objections against them by May 11.
The WBJEE is a state-level entrance examination, is conducted for admission to undergraduate Engineering, Pharmacy and Architecture programmes in West Bengal’s government and self-financed institutions and universities.
WBJEE 2025 result date and time
Although the WBJEE result 2025 date is announced, the time at which the WBJEE result will be declared is not announced yet. Last year, the WBJEE result was announced at 3 pm and link to check the result was made active at 4 pm on June 6. WBJEE 2024 was held on April 26.
In 2023, the result was declared on May 26, for the exams which were conducted on April 30, and before that, in 2022, the result was declared on June 17, for the exams conducted on April 30.

Step 4: Click on get result button
Step 5: The result will appear on your screen
Step 6: Save and download the scorecard for future reference.
Last year, Kingshuk Patra from Bankura Zilla School topped the examination. In 2023, Md Sahil Akhtar from Kolkata secured the first rank, the second position was secured by Soham Das also of Kolkata and the third place was secured by Sara Mukherjee of Durgapur. The success rate was 99.4 per cent out of the 97,524 candidates who appeared for the exam.
