Candidates who appeared for the UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2024 can now check their final results. The UPSC declared the final results on the official website at upsc.gov.in. The result document will mention the names of the candidates who have been selected for appointment.
Regarded as one of the most competitive exams in the country, the UPSC CSE sees participation from lakhs of aspirants every year. The exam serves as the gateway to prestigious positions such as the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Revenue Service, Indian Trade Service, and other Group A and B central services.

The selection process comprises three stages – Preliminary, Mains, and the Personality Test (Interview). The final merit list is prepared based on the candidates’ performance across all three stages.
In the 2024 session of the recruitment exam, the interview round began on January 7 and concluded on April 17. A total of 1,132 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment drive.
In 2023, the interviews ended on April 9, and the final result was published a week later on April 16. Going by past trends, the 2024 final results are also expected to be announced soon.

Similarly, in 2020, the result for the 2019 exam was announced on August 4.
