UGC NET June 2025 Result Declared at ugcnet.nta.ac.in: Over 55 thousands candidates qualify for assistant professor

The UGC-NET June 2025 was conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode from June 18 to 21 across multiple centres nationwide. The exam is held to determine eligibility for the posts of Assistant Professor and the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Indian universities and colleges.

According to the official data released by the NTA, a total of 10,19,751 candidates had registered for the examination. Of these, 7,52,007 candidates appeared for the test. In terms of qualification, 5,269 candidates have cleared the exam for both JRF and Assistant Professorship. Additionally, 54,885 candidates have qualified for Assistant Professor and Ph.D. admission, while 1,28,179 candidates have qualified for Ph.D. admission only.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link titled “UGC NET June 2025 Result”
Step 3: Enter your Application Number, Date of Birth, and Security Pin
Step 4: Once logged in, the result will appear on the screen
Step 5: Download and save a copy of the scorecard for future reference

UGC NET June 2025 Result: What after results are out?

As the results are announced, candidates can access their scorecards, which will include total marks, percentile scores, and qualification status for JRF and/or Assistant Professorship. Subject-wise and category-wise cut-off marks will also be published along with the results.

NTA follows a percentile-based normalization process to ensure comparability across multiple shifts. Candidates who meet or exceed the prescribed cut-offs will be considered qualified.
