The Centre for Interdisciplinary Brain Sciences at the Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (IMHANS), Kozhikode, recently organised a two-day training programme in molecular neurobiology for undergraduate students in life sciences.
It was part of the scientific social responsibility programme of the Anusandhan National Research Foundation. A total of 25 Students from colleges in Kannur, Kozhikode, Malappuram, Palakkad, and Ernakulam districts participated in the programme. Research fellows under the guidance of IMHANS principal investigators Rajith K. Ravindren and Shabeesh Balan trained the students.
S. Midhun from the Department of Psychiatry, Government Medical College, Kozhikode, and M.S. Divya from the Department of Pathology, Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute of Medical Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, delivered lectures for the students.
