TKM College of Arts and Science is organising a quantum science exhibition in collaboration with the Kerala Sasthra Sahithya Parishad and the Cochin University of Science and Technology (Cusat) to mark the centenary of quantum science. The exhibition is being held as part of the college’s ongoing diamond jubilee celebrations.
Models and displays explaining the growth and practical applications of quantum science will be on display with the aim of helping students from the high school-level onwards and the general public to understand related theories simply and directly. Specially trained volunteers will explain the displayed items at each stall. In addition to the main exhibition,’ all departments of TKM College and its sister institutions have set up separate, informative displays as part of the college’s 60th-anniversary festivities. Other events scheduled during the exhibition days include lectures led by scholars, robotics show and cultural programmes.
The exhibition will be inaugurated on November 20 by TKM College trust chairman Shahal Hassan Musaliar while N. Shaji from Cusat will deliver the keynote address.
