Thiruvananthapuram to host Kerala Cancer Conclave 2025

The capital will host the Kerala Cancer Conclave 2025, to explore the challenges and possibilities of cancer treatment.

The conclave will be held at Hotel Hyatt Regency on June 28 and 29, seeking innovative ways to treat cancer.

Under the leadership of the Association of Medical and Pediatric Oncologists of Kerala (AMPOK), the conclave is organised with participation from more than 200 cancer treatment experts from the country and abroad. In the conclave, various topics will be discussed in seven sections in two days.

Renowned doctors in the field of cancer treatment, including Shaji Kumar from Mayo Clinic in the United States; Sabi George; M.V. Pillai; Ben George; and James Abraham from Roswell Park; will participate in the discussions. S.S. Lal, Satheesan, M.R. Rajagopal, Jayant Maman Mathew, Murali Tummarukudi, Pramish C.S., Bhavana Sirohi, and other experts will also speak.

N.K. Premachandran, John Brittas and Shafi Parambil, MPs; former Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar; and Boban Thomas will speak on ‘The role of governments in cancer control.’

A cancer opinion survey will also be released.
