The office of the Assistant Executive Engineer, Operation and Maintenance, Erode South Division of Tangedco that was functioning at Karur Bypass Main Road, Kollampalayam, has been shifted to own building at 314, Rice Mill Road, Near LIC Nagar, Moolapalayam, Erode, from April 18, a release said.
Water level at Bhavanisagar
The water level at the Bhavanisagar dam stood at 82.59 feet against the full reservoir level of 105 feet on Monday. At 8 a.m., the inflow into the dam was 182 cusecs while the discharge was 200 cusecs into River Bhavani, 500 cusecs into Kalingarayan canal and 2,300 cusecs into the Lower Bhavani Project canal. The storage was 17.09 thousand million cubic feet against the capacity of 32.80 tmc feet.
