TNDGE TN Board +2 12th Result 2025 Released: The The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) declared the Tamil Nadu Board Class 12 results on May 8. The TN HSC plus 2 results 2025 are available at the official websites- dge.tn.gov.in and tnresults.nic.in.

TNDGE has also announced +1 or Class 11 supplementary March exam results.

The overall pass percentage for the Plus Two exams stands at 95.03%, marking a 0.47% increase from last year.

Festive offer

When it comes to school categories, private schools lead with a remarkable 98.88%, followed by government-aided schools at 95.71%, and government schools at 91.94%.

In terms of centum scorers, Tamil saw 135 students achieving full marks. Physics had 1,125 centums, Chemistry saw 3,181, Biology had 827, and Mathematics recorded an impressive 3,022 centum scorers.

A total of 7,53,142 students out of 7,92,494 who appeared for the exam held from March 3 to 25, have passed.

About 4,19,316 girls and 3,73,178 boys took the test and of them 4,05,472 girls and 3,47,670 boys cleared it, registering a pass percentage of 96.70 and 93.16 percentage respectively, the Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu, along with the state School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, announced here.

There had been 10,049 absentees.

Tamil Nadu Board +2 HSE Result 2025: How to check

Ariyalur district (98.82 per cent), Erode (97.98), Tiruppur (97.53), Coimbatore (97.48), and Kanyakumari (97.01) were among the top five districts that secured a highest pass percentage in the state. Out of 7,513 schools, 2,638 institutions achieved cent per cent result.

The Class 12 arrears (supplementary) exams are scheduled to begin from June 25, 2025.

This year, the Tamil Nadu board conducted the Class 12 board exams between March 3 to March 25. The practical component of the TN board Class 12 exams was conducted between February 7 to 14. 

The students who appeared for the  TNDGE Class 12 exams can view their result status and download scorecards from the official websites using their registration number and date of birth. 

The Class 12 marksheet will have the marks scored by students in different subjects. To collect the Tamil Nadu original mark sheets, students need to visit their respective schools after a few days. Information about the supplementary exams will be announced soon. 

Last year, the Tamil Nadu board declared the HSC plus 2 exam results on May 6, 2024. The  TN Board Class 12 exams last year were held between March 1 to 22.

The overall pass percentage last year was 94.56 per cent. The pass percentage last year increased slightly to 94.56 per cent from 94.03 per cent in 2023.

A total of 7,60,606  students appeared for the TN board class 12 exam last year. The overall pass percentage was 94.56 per cent, with male pass percentage being 92.37 per cent and the female pass percentage being 96.44 per cent.
