Malathi Damodaran, daughter of Communist leader and the former Kerala Chief Minister EMS Namboodiripad, passed away here early Saturday. She was 87. The end came at her house in Mangalam Lane, Sasthamangalam, here, around 3.30 a.m. A paediatrician, she worked at Christian Medical College, Vellore.
