The Strathclyde Business School is offering a full-time MBA Deans Excellence Awards for September 2025. The award covers 50 per cent of the MBA tuition fee. Scholarships are being awarded on a rolling basis, with the final deadline for consideration on July 31. There are five scholarships available for students.
Dean’s Excellence Awards will be granted to candidates who, through their scholarship application, MBA programme application, and interview, demonstrate: exceptional professional/managerial/leadership experience and career development, excellent academic performance and who will contribute to the overall academic, cultural and experiential profile of the programme cohort, mentions the press release.
Eligibility
Applicants must hold an offer of a place on the full-time MBA September 2025 programme in order to be considered. Awards will only be made to candidates who have undergone a successful interview. MBA Scholarship applications are invited from exceptional candidates who are prepared to act as ambassadors for the Strathclyde FT MBA.
Students must clearly demonstrate—through their scholarship and programme applications, as well as during the interview—how their ideas and approach will foster teamwork and community-building from the outset, helping to create a cohesive class environment that enhances both the collective learning and social experience of the group.
Leadership/management skills or potential, overall quality of the programme application and financial need will also be considered. Scholarships are only open for self-funded fee-paying applicants enrolling on a full-time course. Those who receive full sponsorship from a government office or embassy are not eligible to apply. Online and blended learning programmes are also not eligible for these scholarships.
Scholarships are competitive and will be awarded on a rolling basis. Awards may be allocated early in the applications cycle. Students are only eligible for one scholarship per academic year from the University of Strathclyde.
To receive their scholarship, awardees must enrol in the 2025/2026 academic year and continue to meet all of the above eligibility criteria. Scholarship recipients will be expected to engage with student ambassador activities during their course of study, such as supporting student recruitment activities and events. Strathclyde Business School’s decision on the awarding of scholarships is final.
