SSLC Result 2025 Kerala: 99.5% students pass, Thiruvananthapuram lowest performer

Kerala SSLC Result 2025 Released: The Kerala Board of Public Examinations on May 9 announced the result of Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) or Class 10th exams. The pass percentage this year is 99.5%. Last year, it was 99.69%. The result link will be activated at 4 PM. 

The  Kerala SSLC result is available at the official websites of the boardkeralaresults.nic.in, prd.kerala.gov.in, result.kerala.gov.in, and results.kite.kerala.gov.in. In addition to these websites, the marksheet can also be downloaded from the DigiLocker portal.

The SSLC exams this year were conducted between March 3 to March 26. Of the total 4,27,020 students appearing in the Kerala Class 10 SSLC exams, as many as 4,24,583 students have passed the exam. As many as 61,449 students have obtained an A+ in all subjects.

Thiruvananthapuram has the lowest pass percentage in Kerala SSLC 2025 results. Malappuram district has the maximum number of students with A+ in all subjects.

Festive offer

This year, a total of 4,27,021 students took the exam, which was conducted at 2,964 centres across the state, along with nine centres in Lakshadweep and seven in the Gulf region. Among the candidates, 2,17,696 were boys and 2,09,325 were girls. Malappuram recorded the highest number of examinees, while Kuttanad saw the lowest turnout.

The students can check their result and download the marksheet using their credentials like registration number, password, and date of birth.

The students need to collect their original marksheet hard copies from their respective schools after a few days, as the marksheet downloaded from the websites will be provisional in nature.

The board will conduct the Save a year exams for students who have failed, allowing them to improve their marks. Also, students dissatisfied with their results can apply for the rechecking of their papers. 

Last year, the exams were conducted by the Kerala board between March 4 and March 25. These exams were held in 2,955 centres in the state. In addition to that there were nine centres in Lakshadweep and seven centres in the Gulf region.  The result of these exams was declared by the Kerala General Education Minister V Sivankutty through a press conference on May 8.

The Pala district was the best-performing educational district with a pass percentage of 100 per cent. Among the revenue districts, Kottayam was the best-performing district with a pass percentage of 99.92 per cent. The pass percentage was 99.69 per cent. It was a slight improvement from the previous year when the pass percentage stood at 99.70 per cent. A total of 4,25, 563 students had passed the exam, and 71,831 students achieved A+ grades, which was an improvement when compared to the previous year when this number was 68, 604. 

The board did not release the list of students who have topped the class 10 SSLC exam 2024 in the state.
