Slots for ‘Neril Subcollector’ project increased

The recently launched project of the Idukki district administration, ‘Neril Subcollector’ (Face-to-face with the Subcollector), aimed at making communication with the public faster and more transparent, has met with success.

According to officials, within a week, Idukki Subcollector Anoop Garg had completed two online sittings and 13 people had submitted complaints. Officials said the applications mainly pertained to title deeds, land mutation, fair value and job-related issues. The field inspections of fair value applications have been completed within two days.

According to Mr. Garg, the district administration is receiving positive feedback for the project. The number of slots, 12 initially, will be increased from this week. The 10-minute slots, allotted daily (18 slots per week), are available on Wednesdays and Fridays from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m..
