Several persons were injured and a few vehicles damaged when a lorry lost control and rammed vehicles in the front at Puthur near Kottakkal in Malappuram on Tuesday evening.
The lorry was going towards Kottakkal from Perinthalmanna. This stretch of the road, known for its steep slope, has witnessed similar accidents in the past, some of them fatal.
The condition of one of the injured persons is said to be critical.
