Jammu & Kashmir schools shut
The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has postponed the Class 10 and 11 exams scheduled for September 3, 2025. The Board announced that new dates will be notified later. While the notification did not cite a specific reason, ongoing adverse weather conditions in the region are seen as the likely cause.
“All the exams of Class 10th and 11th scheduled for tomorrow, i.e., on September 3, 2025, stand postponed. Fresh dates will be notified separately,” JKBOSE announced on its official handle on X.

Not only Jammu and Kashmir, but all schools across Ghaziabad will remain closed on September 3, 2025, following a directive from the District Magistrate in response to ongoing heavy rainfall. Parents and students are advised to monitor weather updates closely and adhere to any additional instructions issued by local authorities, as mentioned in the notification.
Kerala
Schools across Kerala are currently closed for the 10-day Onam break, with regular classes set to resume on September 8.
