Samsung on Thursday, May 8, introduced its latest smartphone, the Galaxy F56 5G, dubbed the ‘slimmest F series smartphone’. The new smartphone is only 7.2mm slim and comes with numerous industry-leading features like a flagship-grade camera, a six-generation Android upgrade cycle, and AI editing tools.
The newly launched smartphone from Samsung starts at Rs 25,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model and Rs 28,999 for the 8GB + 256GB option. The phone comes in green and violet colourways. When it comes to performance, the device is powered by an Exynos 1480 processor with LPDDR5X, making it a power-efficient and fast smartphone. The processor, according to Samsung, is capable of delivering a swift mobile gaming experience with a flagship-level vapour cooling chamber along with high-quality audio and visuals. The device has a 6.7 full HD+ Super AMOLED+ display with 1200 nits of high brightness mode (HBM) and vision booster technology allowing legibility even under bright sunlight.
The Galaxy F56 5G packs a 5,000 mAh battery that allows extended gaming sessions and binge-watching movies and shows. The phone also comes with 45W super-fast charging support, ensuring instant charging. On the software front, the Galaxy F56 5G is packed with One UI that offers simple, impactful, and emotive design, offering a streamlined experience to users.
The smartphone is equipped with a 50 MP OIS triple camera to shoot high-resolution and stable videos and photos. It also features a 12 MP HDR front camera for colourful selfies. The company claims that the cameras on the Galaxy F56 5G have been designed to snap some vivid pictures and videos even in low light. The camera packs features such as Big Pixel Technology, Low Noise Mode, AI ISP, etc. It also has a portrait 2.0 with 2X zoom on the rear camera, which allows for natural bokeh. The device allows one to record 4K 30 FPS videos in 10-bit HDR. The Galaxy F56 5G also features advanced AI-powered editing tools like Object Eraser and Edit Suggestions that make every shot social-ready.
