K.S. Sabarinadhan, the UDF candidate for the local body polls from Kowdiar ward of Thiruvananthapuram Corporation, submitting his nomination before Returning Officer P. Praveen at the Collectorate on Tuesday.

United Democratic Front (UDF) candidate K.S. Sabarinadhan, son of former Speaker G. Karthikeyan, and an MLA from Aruvikkara between 2015 and 2021, submitted his nomination papers for the upcoming local body elections here on Tuesday.
He is the mayoral candidate of Congress in Thiruvananthapuram Corporation. The nomination papers were submitted before the returning officer, P. Praveen, at the Thiruvananthapuram Collectorate.
Mr. Sabarinadhan seeks the mandate from Kowdiar ward. He will contest against A. Sunilkumar of Communist Party of India (Marxist) [CPI(M)] and Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) S. Madhusudhanan Nair, who is outgoing Sasthamangalam ward councillor.
