The selection process for RRB NTPC includes several phases: Computer-Based Test 1 (CBT 1), Computer-Based Test 2 (CBT 2), followed by a Typing Skill Test or Computer-Based Aptitude Test (depending on the post), and finally, document verification. In the ongoing recruitment process, the next step for the students will be to appear for CBT 2. Those who clear the CBT 1 will appear for stage 2 of the exam.
Those who clear CBT 2 will then undergo skill tests (where applicable), followed by document verification and medical examinations as part of the final selection.
The exam follows a defined marking scheme, with one-third of a mark deducted for each incorrect answer in both CBTs. The syllabus remains consistent across stages, covering General Awareness, Mathematics, and Reasoning, testing candidates’ knowledge, accuracy, and aptitude.
