The Delhi government has opened applications for students seeking admission to the Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC) in Dehradun for the term starting in July 2026. According to a recent circular released by the Directorate of Education, the entrance test will take place in Delhi on December 7. RIMC is an important military school located in the Doon Valley that prepares students for careers in the Indian Armed Forces.
RIMC Admissions 2026: Age
According to the circular, candidates must be at least 11 and a half years old but not older than 13 years as of July 1, 2026. This means that only those born between July 2, 2013, and January 1, 2015, are eligible to apply. The applications are invited from both boys and girls.

Additionally, candidates must be currently enrolled in Class 7 or must have completed Class 7 from a recognised school by the time of admission. The circular states that application forms can be obtained by sending a demand draft of Rs 600 (or Rs 555 for SC/ST candidates who provide a caste certificate) or by applying online through the link provided in the notification.
All completed application forms, along with the required documents, must be submitted to the examination cell of the Directorate of Education by October 15. The Directorate of Education has clarified that only the official forms issued by the RIMC with its official hologram will be accepted. Photocopied or locally printed forms will not be accepted.
