Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) said it will fully pass on the benefits of the recent GST rate reduction to its customers. As per the revised rates, a Toyota Fortuner would now be cheaper by up to ₹3.49 lakh. The revised prices will come into effect from September 22.
As per the new rates, Glanza will see price reduction of up to ₹85,300, Taisor up to ₹1,11,100, Rumion up to ₹48,700 and Hyryder up to ₹ 65,400.
The bigger ones like Crysta will be cheaper by up to ₹1,80,600 and Hycross up to ₹1,15,800.
While a Fortuner will be cheaper by up to ₹3,49,000, the Legender will see a price reduction of up to ₹3,34,000. Hilux will be cheaper by up to ₹2,52,700, Camry up to ₹1,01,800 and Vellfire by upto ₹ 2,78,000.
Varinder Wadhwa, Vice President, Sales-Service-Used Car Business & Profit Enhancement said the GST reform has not only enhanced affordability for customers but also strengthened overall confidence in the auto sector.
“Ahead of the festive season, we expect this step will provide strong momentum and further accelerate demand,” he added.
