Kozhikode: The police on Thursday (October 30) took into custody 44 persons suspected of involvement in various online investment frauds. The action was part of a Statewide special drive, Operation Cyhunt. According to police sources, most of the accused had allegedly exchanged their personal bank accounts with unknown persons to facilitate fraudulent transactions. The sources added that the crackdown would be intensified in the coming days.
