As a first, NTA has also shared the NEET UG 2025 scorecards at the registered email IDs of the candidates. NEET UG 2025 was held across the country on Sunday, May 4. Rajasthan’s Mahesh Kumar has bagged NEET rank 1 in NEET UG 2025. He has scored 99.9999547 percentile. Avika Aggarwal from Delhi NCT is the female topper in NEET UG 2025. She has scored 99.9996832 percentile and has obtained NEET UG rank 5.
NEET UG 2025 Result: Meet the toppers
Of the total 22,76,069 candidates registering for NEET UG 2025, as many as 22,09,318 candidates appeared. Of them, 12,36,531 candidates qualify for admission to UG programmes in medical and allied courses. The cut-off for general category (UR/ EWS) students has dropped from 720-162 in 2024 to 686-144 in 2025. For the OBC, SC, ST and UR/ EWS PwBD category candidates, the cut off is 143-113 and for OBC PwD, SC PwD and ST PwD candidates, the cut-off is 126-113.

NTA has also released the NEET UG final answer key on June 14. No questions have been dropped this year. However, multiple questions have more than one correct answer. For questions, where more than one options are found to be correct, four marks (+4) will be awarded to only those who have attempted the question. The NEET UG question paper comprised 180 compulsory questions in physics, chemistry and biology (botany and zoology).
NTA had released the provisional answer key on June 3 and the window to raise grievance against the provisional NEET UG answer key was June 5.
The NTA conducted NEET UG 2025 in multiple exam centres across 5,453 centres in around 500 cities. Over 22.7 lakh candidates had registered for the NEET UG exams this year.

The NEET UG exam last year was conducted on May 5 for over 24 lakh candidates. While the NEET UG provisional answer key was issued on May 29, the window to challenge was open till May 31. The result was declared on June 4.
