NEET UG 2025 Counselling Schedule: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is set to open registrations for NEET UG 2025 counselling on July 21. The process will facilitate admission to 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats across MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing, and AYUSH courses. Applicants can access the registration form on the official website — mcc.nic.in — once released. The portal will soon host the tentative seat matrix, list of participating institutions, and the official counselling brochure. The NEET UG 2025 result was declared on June 14.
Additionally, the process for the state NEET UG schedule will commence from July 21 to July 30 for the State quota and from July 30 to August 6 for AIQ/Deemed/Central institutions.
NEET UG Counselling 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Only candidates who have successfully qualified for NEET UG 2025 are eligible to participate in the counselling process. MCC will conduct counselling for admissions under the following categories:

NEET UG Counselling 2025: Round one schedule
The process begins with the verification of the seat matrix by the institutes and the National Medical Commission (NMC) from July 18 to 19, 2025. Following this, the registration and payment window will be open from July 21 to July 28, 2025, with payment accepted only until noon on July 28. Candidates must ensure they complete the payment by the 3:00 PM deadline on the same day.
The choice filling phase will run from July 22 to July 28, 2025, ending at 11:55 PM, while the choice locking process will be allowed on July 28, 2025, between 4:00 PM and 11:55 PM. The seat allotment process will be carried out on July 29 and 30, 2025, and the results will be declared on July 31, 2025.
Once the results are out, selected candidates must report to their respective institutes between August 1 and August 6, 2025. Finally, the data verification by the institutes is scheduled for August 7 to 8, 2025.

NEET UG 2025 Counselling: Steps to register online
Once registration opens on July 21, candidates can follow these steps to register themselves –
Step 1: Visit the official website: mcc.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the “UG Medical Counselling” section
Step 3: Register or log in using NEET UG credentials
Step 4: Complete the application form and pay the processing fee
Step 5: Upload necessary documents (NEET scorecard, photo ID, category certificate, etc.)

Step 6: Fill and lock your choices of colleges and courses
Step 7: Download the confirmation page for future reference
The MCC notice has further instructed all participating institutes and colleges to ensure strict adherence to the prescribed time schedule. Considering the limited time available for conducting the counselling process, all institutes/colleges are directed to treat Saturdays, Sundays, and Gazetted Holidays as regular working days.
