M&M sells ₹8,000 cr. worth EVs in H1 FY26

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd (M&M) said it had achieved electric vehicles sales worth over ₹8,000 crore in H1 FY26, making it the number one player in India in terms of half year revenue generated from electric vehicle sales. 

Its electric origin vehicles XEV 9e and BE 6 were unveiled in November last year. In seven months, the company said, it had sold over 30,000 electric vehicles, thus selling 1 EV in 10 minutes said Rajesh Jejurikar, ED & CEO, M&M.

The company said over 1000 plus Mahindra Electric Origin SUVs have crossed 20,000 km and 65% has been driven every single working day.

The owners have cumulatively driven over 200 million km, proving their capability. 

The company on Wednesday also introduced BE 6 Formula E Edition with starting price of ₹23.69 lakh. 

 Bookings will open on January 14, 2026  and deliveries will begin from February 14, 2026.
