Candidates who have appeared for the HSC Class 12 examination have until May 20 to apply for verification of marks and re-evaluation, Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) said on Monday. The board further noted that students will not be able to apply for re-evaluation until a photocopy of answer sheets is obtained by paying a separate fee for it.

Counsellors have been appointed for students to seek support after the declaration of the results. Their contact numbers are made available on the official website of the MSBSHSE (mahahsscboard.in).
The state announced the HSC Class 12 Results today. The results link is activated at 1 PM. For the first time, HSC results have been announced in the first week of May.
Number of students who passed under each marking category
This year, 91.88 per cent students have passed the Class 12 Maharashtra board results this year. MSBSHSE also provided details on the number of candidates who passed under each category of marking category.
In 2025, 1,49,932 students attained over 75% and above. 4,07,438 students received between 60% and 74.99%. Students who earned 45% to 59.99% were 5,80,902. As many as 1,64,601 earned between 35% and 44.99%.

Over 15 lakh registered candidates registered for the HSC examinations, which began on February 11.
The exams were held across nine divisions — Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Nagpur, Amravati, Kolhapur, and Konkan.
The HSC Class 12 marksheet will have the marks scored by students in different subjects. The marksheet made available through these websites will be provisional. To collect the MSBSHSE HSC Class 12 original mark sheets, students will have to visit their respective schools a few days after the board announces the results.
This year the MSBSHSE board conducted the Class 12 board exams 2025 between February 11 and March 11. The students who appeared for the Maharashtra HSC Class 12 exams will be able to download their marksheet from the official websites using roll number and mother’s name as mentioned on their Maharashtra Class 12 hall tickets.
