The residents of VISL quarters and adjoining localities in Bhadravati were in shock as they spotted a leopard roaming in the area. The residents spotted the animal around 8.30 a.m. and informed the local police and Forest Department officials.
Many people have captured the animal’s movements on their cell-phones. The Forest Department staff members reached the spot and are making efforts to capture it. The police have been deployed to handle the situation.
The VISL quarters area is by and large empty as the number of employees has come down drastically over the years.
