The Alappuzha Additional District Court II on Friday sentenced a man to life imprisonment in a murder case. The convict, Mahesh, 40, a practising lawyer and resident of Mannancherry grama panchayat, was found guilty of murdering his relative, Sudharshan. The incident took place on October 29, 2020 following a property dispute. Mahesh struck Sudharshan on the head with an iron rod. Sudharshan’s children and sister also sustained injuries in the attack.
