The district committee of the Kerala Union of Working Journalists (KUWJ) strongly condemned the allegedly derogatory remarks made by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State president Rajeev Chandrasekhar towards a journalist on Sunday (September 21, 2025).
In a statement, the union said the BJP leader responded insultingly to a woman journalist when asked about the alleged incident in which BJP workers assaulted journalists and smashed their equipment a few days ago.
The union demanded that the BJP leader publicly acknowledge his purported mistake and offer an unconditional apology.
