The University of Kerala has scheduled a special meeting of the Senate on October 11 to select its representative to the Vice Chancellor selection committee.
The notices for the meeting were issued to the Senate members on Saturday. No other agenda had been listed in the notice, sources said.
The decision to convene the meeting comes in the wake of an ultimatum served by the Chancellor to decide a nominee for the selection process by October 11.
