The Inter Group Thal Sainik Camp (IGTSC) Competition 2025 concluded in Kozhikode on Wednesday (August 6, 2025), marking the culmination of 10 days of intense training and spirited competition among the National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets of the Kerala and Lakshadweep Directorate. The Kozhikode NCC group was declared the overall winner.
Cadets from the five NCC groups of Kerala—Kozhikode, Ernakulam, Kollam, Kottayam, and Thiruvananthapuram—participated in the camp, competing in events such as health and hygiene, shooting, map reading, obstacle crossing, judging distance, and tent pitching.
NCC officers said the competitions aimed to identify the best-performing cadets from the Kerala and Lakshadweep Directorate contingent for the upcoming All India Thal Sainik Camp scheduled to commence in New Delhi on September 1. Brigadier M.R. Subodh, Commander of the Kozhikode group, presided over the prize distribution ceremony, according to a press release.
