KEAM Results 2025: Following the High Court’s decision to uphold the single bench’s order, the Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE) Kerala released the revised results for the Kerala Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical (KEAM) admissions 2025. The initial rank list released by CEE for KEAM has been cancelled. Students who registered for the exam can check the revised rank list from the candidate portal at cee.kerala.gov.in.
As mentioned in the notification published on the official website, this year, 86549 candidates appeared for the KEAM engineering examination. From the total, only 76230 students qualified for the exam, and 67505 have been included in the KEAM 2025 rank list.
KEAM 2025: Updated rank list
A total of 33,425 candidates appeared for the Pharmacy exam in KEAM 2025, with 27,841 making it to the rank list. In the Engineering exam, Joshua Jacob Thomas secured the top spot with a score of 588.5773 out of 600. Thomas ranked 5th in the initial KEAM list. As per the revised KEAM list, the second position is secured by Hari Kishan Baiju, and the third position is secured by Emil Iype Sacharia. The duo scored 588.5773 out of 600, respectively.
KEAM 2025: State Vs non-state students
The new KEAM has seen a decline in the representation of students from the Kerala state syllabus. Out of the top 100 ranks, only 21 spots are occupied by students from the Kerala syllabus and the rest by other states students.
KEAM 2025: Govt opts not to appeal decision
With the BTech admission process slated for completion by August 14, the government has decided to proceed without pursuing further legal action. The deadline of August 14 is decided by the All India Council for Technical Education.
As a result, the state government will not appeal the decision in a higher court, said Higher Education Minister R Bindu. The minister also announced that the revised rank list is based on the original formula specified in the prospectus.
Speaking to the media, the minister said that the prospectus of the KEAM stated that the government has the power to modify the normalisation system at any stage of the exam, and due to time constraints related to counselling and academic session, they are not challenging the matter in the Supreme Court.
