The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) is expected to announce the Karnataka SSLC Exam 2 Result 2025 soon. While the official date and time for the release of results have not yet been confirmed, candidates who appeared for the exam can expect the results to be out by June 20.
Students who appeared for the supplementary examination will be able to access their results on the official website at karresults.nic.in.
This year, the SSLC Exam 2 (supplementary) was conducted from May 26 to June 2, in a single shift each day from 10 am to 1:15 pm. The practical and viva-voce components for applicable subjects were held separately on June 3. The Karnataka SSLC 2 exams are conducted for students who did not pass in one or more subjects during the main examination.
Karnataka SSLC Exam 2 Results: Check previous year dates
Looking at previous trends, the Karnataka SSLC Exam 2 results are typically released within a month after the conclusion of exams. Last year, the SSLC Exam 2 results were declared on July 10, following the exams held from June 14 to June 21.
In 2023, the supplementary exam results were announced on June 30 for exams conducted between June 12 and June 19. Similarly, in 2022, the results were published on July 21, after the exams were held from June 27 to July 4.
Karnataka SSLC Main Results 2025: Student performance in numbers
The Karnataka SSLC Exam 1 result for 2025 was declared on April 30. A total of 8,42,173 students appeared for the exam, of which 5,24,984 students passed. The overall pass percentage stood at 62.34%. Students who were not able to clear the main exam were given another chance through the SSLC Exam 2.
Grace marks removed this year
One of the significant changes introduced in 2025 is the removal of the grace marks policy by KSEAB. In 2023, over 59,000 students had benefited from 10% grace marks. Last year, this provision was increased to allow up to 20% grace marks per subject, which helped many students clear the exam. However, for the 2025 academic year, this concession has been withdrawn.

As a result, the number of students failing the main exam rose, contributing to the relatively lower pass percentage and higher participation in SSLC Exam 2.
