Karnataka 2nd PUC results 2025 declared: The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEAB) has declared the Karnataka 2nd PUC results for 2025. The exams were conducted from March 1 to March 20, 2025. Students can now check their results on the official board website at karresults.nic.in, kseab.karnataka.gov.in.
In the Karnataka 2nd PUC 2025 results, the overall pass percentage stood at 69.16%, with 4,76,256 students passing out of the 6,88,678 who appeared for the exam. This year’s pass percentage reflects a significant drop from the previous year’s pass rate of 81.15%.
Among freshers, 6,37,805 students appeared and 4,68,439 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 73.45%. In contrast, the performance of repeaters was significantly lower, with only 2,987 students passing out of 33,576, leading to a pass rate of just 8.90%. Private candidates also recorded a modest performance as 17,297 appeared and 4,830 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 27.92%.

In the combination-wise Karnataka 2nd PUC results, the Arts stream recorded a pass percentage of 53.29%, with 81,553 of 1,53,043 students clearing the exam.
In the Commerce stream, 1,55,425 out of 2,03,429 students passed, resulting in a pass rate of 76.07%.
Whereas, in the Science stream performed the best, with 2,31,461 of 2,80,933 students passing and achieving a pass percentage of 82.45%.

Karnataka PUC 2 result 2025: Students from English medium schools performed better
In the medium-wise performance analysis for PUC II 2025, students from the English medium performed better, with 4,29,011 appearing and 3,50,736 passing, resulting in a pass percentage of 81.75%. In comparison, 2,08,794 students appeared from the Kannada medium, out of which 1,17,703 passed, recording a pass percentage of 56.37%.

Karnataka PUC 2 result 2025: Re-evaluation and compartment exams
Students who do not pass the Karnataka 2nd PUC exams will have the opportunity to appear for compartment exams. The board will release the details regarding scrutiny and revaluation applications after the results are announced. Those who wish to apply for re-evaluation can do so through the official website.
Students who could not write 2025 II PUC Exam-1 due to a shortage of attendance can register for Exam-2 or Exam-3 as private candidate as per board rule. For two supplementary exams, the Karnataka school examination and assessment board has said that they will not collect any fee for examination. The Karnataka II PUC Exam-2 will be conducted from June 9-21, 2025.

The re-evaluation process allows students to request a review of their answer sheets. The fee structure for re-evaluation is as follows: Rs. 1,670 per subject for re-evaluation, Rs. 530 per subject for obtaining scanned copies of the answer script, while re-totalling of marks is free of charge.

The PUC II 2025 results showed a higher pass percentage among girls, with 77.8% of the 3.4 lakh female candidates successfully clearing the exam. In contrast, 68.2% of the 2.9 lakh male candidates passed, indicating a consistent trend of better performance by female students.
