JEE Mains Result 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the final answer key of the Joint Entrance Exam Main (JEE Main) session 2 by 2 pm today and declare the result on April 19. NTA held the April session of JEE Main 2025 between April 2 and 9. The official websites of JEE Main – jeemain.nta.nic.in and nta.ac.in will make the JEE Main 2025 answer key and result link available.

On the evening of April 17, NTA had released the JEE Main final answer key. However, late during the night, the NTA had withdrawn the JEE Main April 2025 final answer key from the official website. In the JEE Main 2025 April exam final answer key for paper 1, two questions were also dropped. The first was in the April 3 first shift (domestic set) and the second dropped question was from April 2 first shift (international set).

NTA will be declaring the JEE Main 2025 result along with the cut-off after the final JEE Main answer key is released. The JEE Main session 2 result will be declared along with the cut-off for JEE Advanced, all India rank holders and state-wise toppers. 

JEE Main 2025 is being held in two rounds this year – January and April. If a candidate has appeared in both the sessions, the best of the candidate’s scores in JEE Main will be considered while preparing the final merit list.

The provisional answer key was released on April 11, and candidates had time till April 13 to raise objections. The JEE Main question paper is divided into two sections – A and B. Each subject consists of two sections. Section A consists of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs), and Section B consists of questions whose answers are to be filled in as a numerical value.

There is negative marking given for each incorrect answer in Sections A and B. Four marks are given for each correct answer, and one mark is deducted for each wrong answer marked. For those questions unanswered and marked for review, no marks are provided.

As per JEE Main 2025 marking scheme, if more than one option is found to be correct then four marks will be awarded to only those who have marked any of the correct options and for questions where all options are found to be correct then four marks will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question.
