ICAI CA Final Exams 2025 postponed: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has revised the Chartered Accountant (CA) September 2025 papers of CA Final and Intermediate scheduled to be held on September 3 and September 4. The postponement of the ICAI CA September 2025 exam comes in view of the intense rainfall and flood situation in certain cities of Punjab and Jammu city.
The Chartered Accountants Final and Intermediate examinations, set to be held on September 3 and September 4, are postponed in cities of Punjab in Amritsar, Bathinda, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Mandi, Gobindgarh, Pathankot, Patiala and Sangrur and Jammu City only.
The revised dates will be announced in due course, ICAI said while announcing the postponement of the exams. The candidates are advised to stay in touch with the website of the Institute – icai.org.
The statement further added that other particulars and details as announced earlier, will remain unchanged.
The ICAI CA final exam for Group 1 is scheduled t0 be held on September 3, 6 and 8, and Group 2 is set to be conducted on September 10, 12 and 14.
The intermediate exam for ICAI CA Group 1 will be held on September 4, 7 and 9, 2025 and Group 2 will be held on September 11, 13 and 15.
Paper 6 of CA final exam is of four hours duration. However, all other examinations are of three hours duration. Candidates will get 15 minutes extra time to read the question papers.

The ICAI will conduct the CA September 2025 Foundation exams on September 16, 18, 20 and 22. In Paper 3 and 4 of the CA foundation exam, there will not be any advance reading time, whereas in all other papers and exams, an advance reading time of 15 minutes will be given from 1.45 pm to 2 pm.
The September 2025 ICAI CA examinations will also be held at nine overseas examination cities — Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Thimpu (Bhutan), Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu (Nepal), Kuwait, Muscat and Riyadh (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia).
