IBPS PO, SO Recruitment 2025: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has extended its registration window for the 2025 recruitment of Probationary Officers (PO) and Specialist Officers (SO). Candidates interested in applying for these posts can find the direct link on the official IBPS website — ibps.in and can apply till July 28. The recruitment drive aims to fill 6,215 positions, including 5,208 vacancies for Probationary Officers and 1,007 for Specialist Officers.

To be eligible for PO positions, candidates must possess a graduation degree in any field from a university recognized by the Government of India or hold an equivalent qualification approved by the Central Government. The age requirement for these roles is between 20 and 30 years as of July 1, 2025. For Specialist Officer (SO) roles, the educational qualifications differ depending on the specific post, as detailed in the official notification, though the age criteria remain the same.

Those wishing to apply for IBPS PO or SO positions—or both—should visit the official website: ibps.in. From the homepage, applicants need to click on the appropriate IBPS PO or SO registration link. This will lead to a new page where they must choose the “Apply Online” option and input their registration details before submitting.

After registration, candidates should log in to their account, complete the application form, and submit the required fee. Aspirants can download and print the confirmation page once the application is successfully submitted, for future reference.

The application fee is Rs 850 for candidates belonging to general and other categories, while applicants from SC/ST/PwBD categories are required to pay Rs 175. All payments must be made through online mode. For detailed information regarding eligibility and the complete notification, candidates can visit the official IBPS website.

Aspirants need to note that admission to the examination is provisional and does not involve verification of eligibility documents at this stage. Candidates found to be ineligible will not be permitted to participate in the interview process. Additionally, those who have indicated the need for a scribe in their online application must provide the scribe’s details when downloading the examination call letter.
