ACIO (II) Executive Recruitment 2025: The Intelligence Bureau (IB) has issued a notice for the recruitment of ACIO (II) Executive. This year, a total of 3,717 posts are up for grabs by candidates. Eligibility criteria

Exam Pattern

The selection process comprises a written examination, a descriptive test, an interview, document verification, and a medical examination. The written exam will feature 100 objective-type questions worth a total of 100 marks, to be completed within 1 hour. A penalty of one-fourth of a mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. This will be followed by a descriptive test carrying 50 marks, and then an interview worth 100 marks.

The IB ACIO, or Intelligence Bureau Assistant Central Intelligence Officer, is a Group ‘C’ (Non-Gazetted) position under India’s Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA). This role plays a vital part in safeguarding national security. IB ACIO officers are responsible for collecting and analysing intelligence, conducting surveillance activities, and executing field operations.
