On Wednesday, Human Mobile Devices (HMD) unveiled two new feature phones—HMD 130 Music and HMD 150 Music—with an emphasis on music-listening capabilities. With a dedicated music control button and large speakers, these devices enable music playback and also support FM radio, along with a one-year replacement guarantee with support for 13 Indian langauges such as Kannada, Hindi, and Malayalam. During the launch, HMD also renewed its partnership with Rajasthan Royals.
The HMD 130 Music is priced at Rs 1,899, and the HMD 150 Music costs Rs 2,399. Both devices will be available for purchase starting today via online and offline channels across the country.

“With the launch of the HMD 130 and HMD 150 Music, we continue our commitment to offering durable, long-lasting devices that provide an exceptional mobile experience, particularly for first-time users. Additionally, we are excited to announce that we will soon be coming out with our entry-level 5G smartphone, bringing high-speed connectivity to a wider audience,” said Ravi Kunwar, VP and CEO, HMD India and APAC.
Both phones pack large rear-facing speakers, and the company also includes complimentary wired earphones with a 3.5mm jack in the box.
Similarly, both phones have a USB-C port with support for charging. Once fully charged, the 2500mAh battery can provide up to 50 hours of music playback time and 36 hours of standby time. Both devices offer a 2.4-inch QVGA display and run on the S30+ operating system.
Both devices also offer Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, allowing users to pair wireless earbuds and neckbands with the feature phone. While the phones come with limited internal storage of 16MB, both support up to a 32GB microSD card, making it easy to store and play music on the HMD 130 Music and HMD 150 Music.
Both devices support UPI payments; however, only the HMD 150 Music supports scan and pay, as the HMD 130 Music lacks a camera.
