The Kerala High Court has granted 10 days ordinary leave to a convict who is undergoing life imprisonment in a murder case and was pursuing the LL.B course to attend internship, from September 10 to 16.
Justice P.V. Kunhikrishnan issued the order on a petition filed by Karuvangadan Mukthar, a life convict who is undergoing imprisonment at the Central Prison and Correctional Centre, Kannur. He had prayed for 10 days leave to attend the fourth semester internship as part of the law course. He was attending classes online.
