The momentum in November automobile wholesales continued buoyed by the cut in Goods & Services Tax in September 2025. Most of the top auto companies reported over 20% growth Year on Year (YoY) indicating robust performance. 

In November 2025, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, India’s biggest Passenger Vehicles (PV) company said it sold a total of 2,29,021 units, its highest-ever monthly sales volume as compared with 1,81,531 units in the year ago period, up 26%. Domestic PV sales increased 21% Year on Year (YoY) to 170,971 units. Total sales in the month include domestic sales of 174,593 units, sales to other OEM of 8,371 units and exports of 46,057 units. Notably, the exports reached an all-time monthly high.

Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. wholesales in the domestic & international market for November 2025 stood at 59,199 units, compared to 47,117 units during November 2024, up 25.6%. In the domestic market the company reported 22% in wholesales at 57,436 units as compared with 47,063 units a year ago.

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M Ltd.), announced that its overall auto sales for November 2025 stood at 92,670 vehicles, YoY growth of 19% including exports.

In the Utility Vehicles segment, Mahindra sold 56,336 vehicles in the domestic market, YoY growth of 22% and overall, 57,598 vehicles, including exports. The domestic sales for Commercial Vehicles stood at 24,843a growth of 17%.

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) achieved total monthly sales of 66,840 units registering YoY growth of 9.1%. This includes monthly domestic sales of 50,340 units, up 4.3% YoY and exports of 16,500 units.

Tarun Garg, whole-time director & chief operating officer, HMIL said, “Supported by GST 2.0 reforms, we continue to carry forward sales momentum with a year-on-year growth in our monthly domestic sales in November 2025.” 

“Further, our commitment to bolstering India’s role as a global manufacturing hub is further solidified with 26.9% year-on-year growth in monthly exports,” he added.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) reported wholesales of 33,752 units, up 28% YoY. This includes 30,085 units sold in the domestic market while 3,667 units were exported. 

“Following a positive festive season supported by the government’s progressive GST reforms, we continue to witness a strong momentum, with a growth of 28%,” said Varinder Wadhwa, Vice President, Sales–Service–Used Car Business, TKM.

Kia India, reported wholesales of 25,489 units, up 24% over the 20,600 units sold in November 2024. This performance comes on the back of Kia’s best-ever sales in October 2025.

Škoda Auto India sold 5,491 units in India, recording a 90% YoY growth. 

Renault India, the wholly owned arm of French automaker Renault Group, reported wholesales of 3,662 units in November 2025 compared to 2,811 units in the same month of the previous year, reflecting a 30.27% year on year increase.

In the two wheeler (2W) segment Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL), reported total sales of 1,22,300 units, marking a 30% YoY growth over 94,370 units sold in November 2024. In the domestic market, SMIPL’s sales touched 96,360 units in November 2025, up 23% YoY. Exports grew by 62%, reaching 25,940 units in November 2025, up from 16,037 units in November 2024.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) reported total sales of 5,91,136 units in November 2025, up 25% YoY. This includes 5,33,645 units in domestic sales and 57,491 units in exports. 

TVS Motor Company recorded monthly total sales of 5,19,508 units in November 2025 with a growth of 30% as against 401,250 units in November 2024.

Total two-wheelers registered a growth of 27% with sales increasing from 392,473 units in November 2024 to 4,97,841 units in November 2025. Domestic two-wheeler registered growth of 20% with sales increasing from 3,05,323 units in November 2024 to 3,65,608 units in November 2025.

Bajaj Auto Ltd reported 1% YoY drop in domestic sales to 2,02,510 units. Exports grew 8% YoY to 1,77,204 units. The company’s total vehicles sales including two wheelers, three wheelers and exports grew 8% YoY to 4,53,273 units.
