The Pixel 10 launch is almost a month away, but Google has shared a glimpse of its latest flagship device in a new teaser. The teaser showcased the Pixel 10 Pro model. The teaser can be watched on the Google Store website.
The new Pixel 10 Pro looks much similar to the rendered photos of the device that made its way to the internet earlier this week. The 13-second video subtly shows the numeral 10 smoothly transitioning to show off the new camera island. The teaser shows the back panel of the upcoming phone with its shiny bezels along with the rounded edges.
On the surface, the new Pixel 10 Pro resembles the official renders that were previously leaked online. Besides, the phone’s third camera is rumoured to be a telephoto sensor. The only notable change seems to be the addition of a third camera, without which the Pixel 10 Pro would seem like the Pixel 9. The teaser by Google also displays a greyish-blue colour on the new phone.
In the past too, ahead of the official launch of its upcoming phones, design renders of Google phones surfaced on the internet. Google has a tradition of teasing phone designs without divulging details about the specs. In 2024, the company teased Pixel 2 Pro’s design, and subsequently it shared details about the device a few weeks later.
Pixel 10 comes with new upgrades
Reportedly, the base model, Pixel 10, will have smaller camera sensors. And this could likely be the biggest distinction between the regular Pixel 10s and Pixel 10 Pro devices.
The primary sensor will be a 48MP sensor, a 12MP ultrawide sensor, and a 10.8MP telephoto sensor. The camera module on the next generation of Pixel phones draws inspiration from the Pixel 9a and Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
Google has not shared anything about the new devices other than the teaser. However, with the Pixel 10 slated for an August 21 launch, we will not have to wait long. Besides, Google has also announced an exclusive promo offer. Those subscribing to Google Store emails between July 21 and August 19 will get a promotional discount on the day of the launch.
