Garmin, the popular smartwatch maker has launched the Instinct 3 Series in India. Like its predecessor (Instinct 2), the latest from the rugged watch maker is designed for outdoor enthusiasts, adventurers and fitness lovers.
The company says this is the first time it is using AMOLED screens for its Instinct series smartwatches. The Instinct 3 series features a metal-reinforced bezel with a fiber-reinforced polymer case and packs a scratch-resistant display. You also get MIL-STD 810H protection and 100 meter water resistance.
Available in two sizes – 45mm and 50mm, the newly launched Instinct gives users the option between an AMOLED screen or a solar powered display. While the colourful screen offers up to 24 days of battery life, the solar version, like Garmin’s other watches offers unlimited battery life with optimal sunlight levels.

The Garmin Instinct 3 watches come with a LED flashlight with adjustable brightness, red light and a strobe mode that helps improve visibility in low light. You also get standard health tracking features like heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, HRV status, stress monitoring, and various sports modes. On the connectivity front, the Garmin Instinct 3 series comes with a multi-band GPS, SatIQ for more accurate tracking and altimeter, barometer and compass.
The Garmin Instinct E is priced at Rs 35,990 while the Instinct 3 Solar and AMOLED version will cost you Rs 46,990. The Garmin Instinct 3 series is now available for purchase on the company’s website and select premium retail stores across India.
