Five injured after car rams into wall in Venjaramoodu

Five people were injured after a car crashed into the compound wall of the Government Higher Secondary School, Venjaramoodu, on Sunday.

Those injured were identified as Akshay Suresh, 29, Saraswathy, 70, Sindhu, 52, Bhavya, 26, and Aradhya, 12, all hailing from Kazhakuttom. The vehicle came to a halt after hitting the wall and an electric post nearby.

According to the police, Akshay is suspected to have dozed off while driving the car as the group were returning from a pilgrimage to Mookambika. They have all been admitted to a private hospital near Venjaramoodu.
