Dr. C. Thankappan remembered

The Qualified Private Medical Practitioners’ Association (QPMPA), the State-level body of doctors in the private sector, organised a memorial meeting in honour of C. Thankappan.

The memorial meeting was inaugurated by the former national president of the Indian Medical Association (IMA), R.V. Asokan. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Asokan said that Dr. Thankappan took care to ensure that his patients felt very comforted even when receiving clinical care from him.

QPMPA State vice-president, Devin Prabhakar delivered the memorial address, recollecting the service, dedication, and leadership qualities of Dr. Thankappan.

IMA and QPMPA leaders spoke on the occasion. A short film based on the life of Dr. C. Thankappan, produced by QPMPA, was screened during the event.
