CSBC Bihar Police Driver Constable Recruitment 2025:  The Central Selection Board of Constables (CSBC), Bihar, has uploaded a notification for the recruitment of driver constables in Bihar Police. This year, there are 4361 posts. Interested students who meet the eligibility criteria can apply at csbc.bihar.gov.in from July 21 to August 20, 2025. Aspirants can find the notification for the posts under advertisement No. 02/2025. Those shortlisted will get a salary between Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100.

Eligibility & application fees 

–The candidate must have passed Class 12th from a recognised board and must possess a valid heavy vehicle driving license along with driving experience.

–The age of the aspirant should be a minimum of 20 years with a maximum of 25 years. There are separate age limits based on reservation rules, and candidates are advised to visit the official website and download the advertisement to know more.

–Aspirants from the state or female candidates, SC and ST categories have to pay a fee of Rs 180, while Rs 675 applies to other category candidates.

Step 3: Complete the registration process and fill out the application form

Step 4: Pay the applicable fee and submit the form

Step 5: Download and print a copy of the submitted form for future reference

The recruitment procedure begins with a written examination for shortlisting candidates for the subsequent Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Both the written test and PET are qualifying stages and do not contribute to the final merit. Candidates who clear the PET progress to the Motor Vehicle Driving Efficiency Test and Document Verification. Ultimately, selection is based on performance in these later stages, not on scores obtained in the written or PET rounds.
