Jain P.V., 47, a district convenor of the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee’s digital media cell and secretary of the Vyttila block committee of the party, was found dead at a lodge near Kacheripady here on Monday (September 29, 2025) night in a suspected case of suicide.
Financial constraints are suspected to be the reason behind his death, police sources said. Congress leaders said he had been working with an IT firm and that the lodge room served as his office space.
He is survived by his wife and two sons. Cremation was held at the Pachalam public crematorium on Tuesday.
