The two-day Blue & Green Climate LitFest 2025 will begin at Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies (Kufos) on December 17.
Noted conservationist Romulus Whitaker will inaugurate the fest, which is jointly being organised by the university, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, and the Institute of Climate Studies and Climate Action Today, at 9.30 a.m.
A. Biju Kumar, Vice-Chancellor of the university, will preside.
Instituted by the Blue & Green Climate LitFest, the annual prizes recognise the exceptional and complex relationship between ecology, society, and policy.
The Blue Prize for non-fiction will be presented to Backstage Climate, authored by Rajan Mehta and the Green Prize to the book Iconic Trees of India, penned by S. Natesh.
