Citroën India on Friday introduced its SUV-Coupe Basalt X range with all-new interiors featuring CARA, ‘India’s first intelligent in-car companion’ at prices starting ₹7.95 lakh (ex-showroom). The fully loaded Basalt X range has been launched at an introductory price of ₹12.89 lakh 9ex-showroom).

With CARA and the new Basalt Range, Citroën said it is entering a new phase of growth in India.
The company said CARA responds naturally to commands, monitors tyre pressure, fuel, offering human-friendly insights and remote control of functions like AC pre-conditioning and door locks.
It manages music streaming, calls, reminders, and smartwatch notifications; integrates with navigation Maps handles 52 Indian and global languages, switching mid-conversation when needed. The car will be delivered during the festive season.
