Cherpulassery CI found dead in quarters

Cherpulassery police station house officer (SHO) Inspector Binu Thomas, 42, was found dead in his quarters on Saturday. He was found hanging from a fan. He hailed from Vadakara. His wife and two children are living at Palakkad. The police said they recovered a suicide note from the quarters, where he went to rest after duty. He was transferred to Cherpulassery six months ago. The body was shifted to hospital for post-mortem examination.
